Frequently Asked Questions
What measurements do I need?
You'll need your handlebar position (X and Y relative to the bottom bracket), saddle position (X and Y), your height, and your inseam measurement.
If you don't have these measurements from a professional bike fitting, you can derive them from a bike you currently ride using our "From My Bike" tool.
How accurate are the recommendations?
Our recommendations are based on professional bike fitting algorithms used by certified bike fitters worldwide. The accuracy depends on the precision of your input measurements.
For the best results, we recommend starting with measurements from a professional bike fitting session.
Do I need to create an account?
No! Our core sizing tools work without an account. You can search for bikes, get size recommendations, and compare options all without signing up.
Creating a free account lets you:
- Save your fit positions for quick access
- Build a virtual garage of your bikes
- Save bikes you're interested in
- Keep a wishlist of what you're looking for
How do I measure my saddle position?
Saddle position is measured from the center of the bottom bracket to the top of your saddle, at the point where the saddle is 8cm wide.
Saddle X: Horizontal distance (setback is positive, forward is negative)
Saddle Y: Vertical distance (saddle height above BB)
What bikes are in your database?
Our database includes thousands of bike frames from major manufacturers, covering road bikes, gravel bikes, mountain bikes, time trial/triathlon bikes, and more. We continuously add new models as they're released.
How do I sign in if I forgot which method I used?
Don't worry! You can use any sign-in method that's connected to your email address. Whether you originally signed up with Google, Microsoft, Facebook, Apple, or a magic link, any of these methods will work as long as they verify the same email.
